What is Pilates?
Pilates is a floor-based exercise program that can involve a variety of equipment. It was originally developed from the principles of its creator Joseph Pilates. It is a safe effective form of exercise suitable for all ages. It builds strength without excess bulk, realigns your posture, and improves your balance.
How can Pilates benefit me?
As well as being used to treat back and neck pain, clinical pilates helps to develop strong core muscles, correct spinal and pelvic malalignment, and allow for quicker recovery from muscular strains, sprains, and sporting injuries.
Classes are specifically for beginners or those returning to exercise. All class sizes are kept to a small number so clients can be closely monitored.
